Hi, I’m Bonnie Swanepoel.
Sport and exercise, both practicing it myself and helping others reach their dreams and goals, has been my inspiration and my line of work for more than 20 years.
I am trained as a sports therapist, a nutritionist and a sports massage therapist as I believe the route to sporting success as well as general excellent health is always multi-faceted and holistic.
To add to this mix, I have more recently added a four year international kinesiology qualification, as I am now more convinced than ever that much of what ails our bodies and often what prevents us from achieving our most coveted sporting dreams, is locked away in our subconscious minds.
These four sturdy pillars enable me to help and encourage my clients to achieve their goals: be they winning a race, achieving a personal best, reaching a desired weight, healing an injury, or becoming pain-free.
My years of experience in the field of competitive sport are one of my greatest assets.
For more than two decades I have competed consistantly and successfully in road cycling, mountain biking, in triathlons and in road running. I have also played field hockey at an international level. One of my greatest sporting achievements in the recent past is to have completed eight successive gruelling Cape Epic mountain bike stage races – and enjoyed it!
